We are celebrating our 11th Annual Santa Night to support the NJ Chapter of the National Cervical Cancer Coalition (NJ-NCCC) on Friday December 13th. Each year we recruit about 25 elves as well as Santa, board a chartered bus and travel throughout Montclair, Bloomfield, Little Falls, Cedar Grove, Verona, and Caldwell visiting predetermined bars & restaurants spreading our Christmas Cheer! In order to reserve a seat on the bus, each elf is responsible for raising at least $200 (most raise more than that). Our ultimate goal is to raise awareness and to educate our community on the dangers of HPV and Cervical Cancer. In December of 2007 I lost my little sister, Cary Anne Cowan at the age of 36 to this very preventable disease. Since that time, we have hosted various fundraisers within our community to educate our neighbors on vaccines, hpv and cervical cancer.
