Kristin and Shoshanah serve as NCCC chapter leaders in North Miami/Ft. Lauderdale, FL. Their leadership journey began while promoting human papillomavirus (HPV) awareness in the South Florida community. Through this work, they helped to educate local residents on the value of the HPV vaccine and the importance of routine Pap smears and HPV testing. Working alongside other medical students, they have played key roles in various community projects, including HPV educational talks and fundraisers for NCCC.
Kristin and Shoshanah aim to create a supportive community where individuals with cervical cancer feel seen, understood, and never alone. As third-year medical students, they are passionate about making a meaningful difference in women’s lives. United in purpose, they are committed to building a chapter that leaves a lasting, positive impact for generations of women to come.
