NCCC Rhode Island Chapter
The Rhode Island Roses Chapter is an extension of the Rockland Roses Chapter, with a mission to honor the beautiful life of Rose DiLascio. Rose was surrounded by a garden of love that was built with the help of her family, friends and community. We intend to serve the women in our community, by creating awareness and a network of support. No family should have to bear the loss of a loved one to cervical cancer alone.
Since its inauguration, the original Rockland Roses Chapter has engaged their community in the cause– hosting family fun days and fundraising events, funding HPV vaccines and cervical cancer screenings for women, delivering beautiful rose themed gift bags for cervical cancer patients undergoing treatment, tabling at events to spread awareness, and so much more.
In 2026, the Rockland Roses Chapter leaders decided it was the right time to expand their efforts into Rhode Island, and get the Rhode Island Roses Chapter off the ground! Living in Rhode Island and inspired by the work and impact already made in Rockland, Jenna and her husband Rich (Rose’s brother) are excited to continue these incredibly important awareness and fundraising efforts in Rhode Island in honor of Rose.
