Local Chapter Events
NCCC local chapters around the country hold cervical cancer awareness events in their communities to educate about HPV and cervical cancer prevention. Chapter leaders participate in community health fairs and national conferences, host educational events at local colleges and community health centers, organize awareness walk/run events, softball tournaments, nature hikes, yoga classes, and a host of other events where they promote the importance of cervical cancer screening and early detection, HPV vaccines, and more. January is an especially busy month for local chapters, as they step up their efforts in honor of Cervical Health Awareness Month.

March 16
- The Fairfax, VA chapter will be an educational exhibitor at the Health and Fitness Expo at George Mason University on March 16 from 10:00am-2:30pm.
March 21
- The South Miami chapter is hosting a Painting With A Twist Fundraiser at 1:00pm on March 21. More than a afternoon of art, this is a chance to come together, raise awareness and usher in a new community support system. Proceeds will go to helping women in the local women’s shelter to receive cervical cancer screening.
