Volunteer with NCCC

Thank you for your interest in volunteering with NCCC! Volunteers play a vital role in the strength of NCCC, helping raise awareness about cervical cancer and HPV disease in their communities.

Advocate on Social Media

Don’t have a lot of time but still interested in helping the cause? Consider becoming a social media ambassador and educating your contacts in your social networks. Our ambassadors share NCCC-created content on their social channels to educate their friends, family and followers about cervical health, cancer prevention, and resources for cervical cancer patients. If you have a desire to educate, advocate and join a like-minded team of awesome people, you can sign up for our email list and get notified about new content and social media initiatives we’re working on.

Want to dive right in? Then check out content from our cervical cancer social media toolkit on the website of our parent company, ASHA.

Start a Local Chapter

collagePerhaps the first step is to see if there is a local chapter in your area. NCCC has local chapters across the country, led by dedicated volunteer chapter leaders. If there is a chapter in your area, you can contact your local chapter leader to learn more about what local events or fundraisers are planned and what volunteer assistance is needed.

If there are no NCCC chapters in your area, you might consider starting a chapter of your own. Each local chapter is repsonsible for organizing at least one educational event and one fundraising event each year. If you think you might be interested in starting your own chapter, visit the Start a Local Chapter page to learn more.

Of course, a number of volunteers hold events to raise awareness and support the work of NCCC through independent local events. If you are interested in hosting a local educational or fundraising event, you’ll find a number of resources available on our website, including fact sheets, posters, and other materials for download. Please feel free to contact us at nccc@ashasexualhealth.org if you have questions about organizing a local event.
