From Chapter Leader Mike Hawkins

My sister, Jennifer Claire Hawkins, died in 2013 of cervical cancer that may have been prevented by the human papalomavirus vaccine and regular checkups. By raising money to support organizations like the National Cervical Cancer Coalition, we can directly save people’s lives.

I wish I could have saved my sister, but we now all have the chance to save someone else’s , or even our own, sister, daughter, or mother. After all, the greatest assets we all have are the women in our lives.

The Winners Circle for Women’s Health

Each year, approximately 200 women in Oklahoma are diagnosed with cervical cancer, but together, we can change the odds. Join the Oklahoma City chapter on Saturday, May 2, for a Kentucky Derby-themed charity watch party at the winery, where high-stakes racing meets a life-saving mission.

This unique fundraiser is designed to raise awareness and vital funds for cervical cancer prevention and HPV education. We are gathering to champion the importance of routine screenings and HPV vaccinations, both of which play a critical role in preventing this disease.
