My name is Andrea and a 31 year old mother of 2 and a cervical cancer survivor. I became a chapter leader after searching for a community to be a part of and I found the National Cervical Cancer coalition. I looked into it and realized there wasn’t anything going on in my area and really want to help out and spread awareness. I am so happy to have found the NCCC and to be a part of such an amazing movement and community. After having my leep done and finding out that I had cancer my world was flipped upside down and I had no idea what was next. I’m here today after my hysterectomy and I want to shine light on the fact that anything can happen but if you are on top of your checkups, it being caught early can be your miracle. I’m working on feeling like a survivor but I’m definitely a champion!
