NCCC Texas (The Brazos Valley ) Chapter

Chapter Leader: Alex Castro

My Name is Alex Castro and I am a Texas native but have spent my life traveling the United States and abroad. I have served for 10 years in the Medical Auxiliary of the United States Army and completed my contract in 2021. I read and write poetry and make pottery on my spare time and spend the better moments with my family and friends. I am a Delta Chi gentleman but a fierce advocate for my patients. I serve as the inaugural Clinical Program Coordinator for Breast and Cervical Screening Program at the Brazos County Health District and CEO and as the Founder of Oza & Castle LLC, a veteran owned public health consulting company aimed to providing program development and management as well as workforce development.

I sought to begin a chapter here in the Brazos County to provide a foundation for women in my community to collectively muster and build a community of resilience, education, and empowerment, where every woman has a voice in her health journey, and inspired to take charge of their health — because every story deserves the chance to continue.
