Sharing Your Story

Empowering patients, encouraging caregivers, and educating healthcare providers

Patient stories offer powerful insights that go beyond the statistics and outcomes, as those affected by cancer have an understanding of what the cancer journey is like.

For patients diagnosed with cancer and survivors, stories from others who have been through the same experience can be a source of comfort and support, and occasionally offer guidance on how to manage the experience. For spouses and family members, such stories can offer a window into the world of their loved ones. Healthcare providers also benefit from the insight offered by patients—insights they may not otherwise hear.

We plan to share your stories in a feature on the NCCC website so your experience can help educate and support others who are going through the same experience.

Please note: By sharing your story with us, you are giving NCCC permission to post your story and files you choose to share (e.g. audio, video, or photo) on our website. Additionally, please know that we may make minor edits to your submission, and it may be used entirely or in part.

You may answer as many or as few questions as you like. It’s entirely up to you.

Please note, we will not use your email on the website, nor will we share it with anyone. We may use your email to contact you about your submission or to let you know once we launch our new content.
