I was diagnosed with advanced cervical cancer March 2003. I had a complete hysterectomy, 9 rounds of chemo, 30 radiation treatments, a radioactive implant and 5 good months before the cancer reoccurred. Since that time, I^ve had an additional 21 chemo treatments, with scans coming up soon. According to the statistics, my survival chances are not high, but my fighting instincts are. You have to fight in your mind. You cannot roll over and give up. My doctor said the fight in your mind is just as important as the chemo you are given. You do have to push yourself to get exercise or do what you are able to do. I^ve worked daily through the last year and a half; it^ll keep your mind occupied and will benefit you. Keep your faith in the Lord too--He will never put more on you than you can bear. God bless all of you who are fighting the battle; keep the spirit; we will win the battle.
