  • I am a cancer survivor
  • June 29, 2005

I was diagnosed with Adenocarcinoma of the cervix in situ in December of 1999. After a cone biopsy with clear margins, I have been cancer free after having Paps and ECC^s done first every three, then every 6 months. However, my last ECC showed "some activity" and my Dr. thinks I should just have the pap and ECC repeated in 2-3 months. I was finally feeling like I had this beat, and now I^m a bit worried. I^d love to talk to someone else who is in a similar situation! I have no children (yet), and am wondering if I should have had a hysterectomy just to be on the safe side. My prayers go out to everyone who has been touched by this (and other) cancers! Jen Scott
