I was diagnosed with cervical cancer in October 2006 and went through chemo, external and internal radiation for stage 3 cancer. I finished my treatments in Feb 2007. I thought I was on the road to recovery then in July 2008 I began to be violently sick all the time then in June 2010 the doctors finally figured out I had to have a small bowel resection. I had to have 8 inches of my small bowel removed due to radiation damage. Once again I thought I was getting my life back Then in Dec 2010 I began to have more strange problems with much research after the doctors could not figure it out I discovered I had a vesicovaginal fistula which they say can not be repaired because the bladder was ate up from radiation. Now Nov 11 I have developed a rectal vaginal fistula.
