I am 29yrs old. I was diagnosed with stage 2 B cervical cancer with lymphnode metastis on July 27th. I thank god that they found it but am scared to death. I know I can beat this but there are a lot of what ifs. I am lucky to have an amazing team working with me and super fast. In a little over 3 Wks I have seen a surgical oncologist, medical oncologist, radiology oncologist, second opinion, 2 ct scans, mri, x-rays, ect... My treatment started yesterday . I am looking at 7 Wks of daily external radiation treatments, 5 internal treatments, weekly chemo starts Monday and ill have extended chemo after the initial 7 Wks.
Dr.s say its uncommon to be this advanced at my age. I am worried about financially and physically being able to care for my 2 children during treatment.
It^s been quite the whirlwind so far. It^s happening so fast that its difficult at times to keep up.
I know god gave me the shoes to fit me so I^m gonna put them on and rock it. I will beat this. And have another story to tell.
