  • I am a cancer survivor
  • I was diagnosed with cervical cancer 1 week after registering for my last semester of college. I had a full class load including a kinestic class. The doctor told me I would not be able to attend school that I would have to drop my classes because I would be too sick. I completed my treatment and finished my classes including my volleyball classes. I am now 2 months cancer free however I am still battling the side effects. The treatment onset my menopause and the hotflashes are horrible. I am also battling lesions that are so far ongoing. However all in all I am feeling well and is looking forward to starting my new career. I feel that positive thinking and determination go long way. When I told myself that I was not going to let this cancer stop me from achieving my goals that^s just what I did. I told the Devil he was a lie and the lord would not put more on me than I can handle. Stay strong, positive and keep your hands in God^s hands and everything will work its way out.
