I am 49 years old and was diagnosed with stage 2b cancer a month ago. After multiple tests, biopsies, scans, etc. I am now a stage 4A. I am sitting here doing my second round of chemo and I^ve had 5 rounds of radiation. Three chemos and 23 radiation to go, then radical surgery.
I haven^t read ANY good news about Stage 4. I am scared of the pain that may be coming, I am scared after reading the statistics. I have asked my doctors (who are excellent) and they just keep saying, "you have no other medical issues, no medical history, no surgeries, no diabetes, NOTHING so hopefully this will work."
I haven^t found anyone who can inspire me and make me believe I am going to make it. Can anyone help?
