As part of the ongoing fundraising and educational efforts that our chapter leaders are committed to throughout the year, they also give back to their communities!  Last year, three such National Cervical Cancer Coalition chapters set up grants in their communities with the assistance of the National Family Planning and Reproductive Health Association to fund screenings for under-served and under-insured populations.  Here are the summaries from their efforts:

Fort Worth, TX         $1000 Grant        Provided funding for 120 HPV tests

West Atlanta, GA      $1000 Grant       Provided funding for 186 Cervical Cancer Screening Tests

Montclair, NJ            $3000 Grant        Provided funding for 88 HPV tests

These generous donations made by NCCC chapters to cycle back through their communities are a reflection of our mission to educate at a grassroots level. The NCCC is proud of its tradition to empower communities through one on one education by enabling individuals affected by HPV or cervical cancer.
